Responsibilities:

• This role is responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labels in accordance with GHS and applicable global regulatory requirements. In addition to regulatory expertise, the role leverages SQL scripting to manage chemical databases, automate reporting, validate data accuracy and support cross-functional analytics needs. Support Project Fenix and Foxtrot / Resource support request for high-volume SDS & label projects and Food Ingredients divestiture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, toxicology, environmental science, or related field).
• 3–5 years of experience in a technical role within a corporate or consulting firm
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to assess complex information and identify practical solutions.
• Proven ability to interpret, synthesize, and clearly communicate technical or regulatory information to achieve desired outcomes.
• Demonstrated capability to work effectively both independently and as part of cross‑functional teams.
• Self‑motivated and results‑oriented, with the ability to maintain productivity and accountability in a remote working environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP and regulatory compliance systems such as UL WERCS for SDS authoring and product notification activities.
• Expertise in global Dangerous Goods regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA/ICAO, IMDG, ADR) and their application to chemical classification and transport
• Strong knowledge of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS) requirements, including hazard classification.
• Develop, review and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labeling in compliance with GHS and applicable regulatory requirements
• Conduct hazard assessments, classification of substances and mixtures and ensure correct communication of hazards
• Develop and execute SQL scripts to extract, transform and analyze chemical and regulatory data from enterprise databases
• Collaborate with IT and WERCS to optimize database structure, implement data quality controls and troubleshoot data-related issues
• Redevelop SDSs, labels, and PCN submissions for Project Fenix, a new‑technology initiative integrating regulatory expertise with data‑driven analysis to ensure compliant market reintroduction
• Facilitate revision of new product SDSs and Poison Centre Notifications (PCNs) resulting in legal entity and branding changes for Project Foxtrot
• Partner with R&D, Manufacturing and Quality teams to obtain and validate chemical composition data.
