Multiple openings are available for the full school year, working closely with K-12 students to help them reach their communication goals.

As a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, you will support students in a dynamic educational environment, collaborating with staff, families, and the community. Your days will involve providing direct speech therapy, evaluating needs, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring every child receives the attention and support they deserve.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and valid Speech-Language Pathology license required
• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence), CFY, and SLP School credentials considered
• Experience with K-12 caseloads strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with both children and adults
• Ability to adapt to different school environments and travel between assignments within Chesapeake, Isle of Wight County, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Southampton County, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-12 students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Document progress, maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
• Service students across multiple assigned schools during the school year

• Contract position with consistent weekday hours: 7.33 hours per day, Monday through Friday
