Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (7PM–7AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 14-bed ICU setting with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on acuity and specialty devices in use
• Manage and titrate critical drips including vasopressors, sedatives, analgesics, anticoagulants, and vasoactive medications
• Care for patients with complex diagnoses including STEMI, NSTEMI, post cardiac arrest, sepsis, DKA, stroke with thrombectomy, respiratory failure, GI bleeds, and more
• Troubleshoot and manage ventilators, NIPPV, CPAP, and Nitric Oxide equipment; support respiratory care when RT is unavailable
• Perform and sign off on telemetry rhythm strips using SpaceLabs monitoring systems in collaboration with on-unit Tele Tech
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules; may be asked to float to ICU units at nearby campuses on a rotational basis with advance notice when possible

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Idaho or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of critical care ICU experience (non-PCU) for night shift
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience titrating critical care drips including vasopressors, sedation, and insulin infusions
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips independently

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with specialty devices such as IABP, Impella, CRRT (NxtStage), or therapeutic cooling (Zoll Thermo)
• Experience caring for stroke, cardiac arrest, or post-thrombectomy patient populations
• Familiarity with SpaceLabs telemetry monitoring systems
