Apex is seeking to add a motivated, full-time Pediatric Registered Dental Assistant to our long-tenured staff. As a Pediatric RDA at an Apex-supported practice, you will be responsible for ensuring that every patient has an Outstanding Patient Experience. You will work as part of a close-knit 'work family' and earn the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities in a dynamic, high growth healthcare services environment. You will have the opportunity to see the impact of your work as you delight your teammates by clearing roadblocks so that they can provide outstanding patient care. Core responsibilities include:

• Supporting the clinical treatment of patients
• Educating patients on dental procedures
• Managing supplies
• Organizing and maintaining lab equipment
• Taking dental x-rays

Requirements:

• Greet patients with a smile and provide a positive patient experience during entire visit
• Take digital x-rays, verify medical history and take vitals
• Assist dentist with treatment procedures
• Assist hygienist with hygiene appointments
• Accurately document treatment completed at each visit as well as any future treatment needed
• Discuss treatment options recommended by dentist and answer questions
• Be comfortable with seeing children with special needs, uncooperative patients and very young children
• Other duties as assigned
• RDA license

$250 welcome bonus to be paid upon completion of 90-day probationary period.
