Your New Role

• Lead residential and multi-family painting crews across the Portland, OR metro area

• Manage daily production schedules and keep projects on track

• Perform and oversee surface preparation, including scraping, sanding, caulking, patching, and repairs

• Execute brush, roll, and spray applications to high-quality finish standards

• Ensure compliance with lead-safe practices and job site safety protocols

• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites

• Conduct trim work, detail painting, and finish inspections

• Communicate professionally with homeowners, tenants, and project managers

• Identify change orders and upsell opportunities when additional work is needed

• Hold crews accountable for workmanship, efficiency, and professionalism

• Deliver completed projects that meet SFW Painting’s quality standards

• 3+ years of residential painting experience preferred

• Experience leading painting crews and managing projects independently

• Strong residential repaint and multi-family painting experience preferred

• Experience working on older homes and pre-1978 properties preferred

• Knowledge of lead-safe painting practices preferred

• Skilled in:

  • Surface prep, including scraping, sanding, caulking, and patching

  • Brush and roll applications

  • Spray applications

  • Trim and detail finish work

  • Minor repair and dry rot work

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to maintain productivity while delivering professional finishes

• Professional communication and customer service skills

• Fluent English required

• Valid driver’s license required

• Reliable transportation to job sites

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

• Organized, dependable, and results-driven mindset
