Anoka RLC is part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization.

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a difference by providing companionship and much needed human interaction for our residents who have been separated from their loved ones due to the pandemic's restrictions on visitors.

Pay: Starting at $17.51 per hour based on previous experience

Available Shift(s): 1 Full-Time AM shift & Part-Time AM & PM shifts

AM: 6:00am - 2:30pm or PM: 4:00 - 8:00pm

Select Weekdays and every other Saturday and Sunday. May have opportunities to pick up additional shifts if desired.

ESSENTIALS:

• Assists in food preparation and ensures dining room is ready for service
• Daily interaction and conversation with residents while serving them meals
• Cleaning duties
• Be a friendly face, in this time of need, for our residents

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand procedures used for work assignments, instructions, recipe directions and diet order cards.
• Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with food
