A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The role focuses on patient assessments, treatment implementation, therapeutic activities, adaptive equipment education, progress monitoring, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and FCC certification.
• Schedule: Day shifts, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Provides occupational therapy services in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Responsibilities include assisting with treatment plan development and implementation, conducting patient assessments and evaluations, administering therapeutic exercises and activities, teaching the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices, documenting patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care.
