Job Category: Transportation and Logistics Requisition Number: TRACT006424 Posted: July 20, 2026 Job Type: Full-Time Locations Showing 1 location Overview The Tractor Trailer Driver is responsible for transporting parts, components, and equipment to and from customer, vendor, and company locations and job sites. Truck Drivers must operate independently under limited supervision, handling a variety of machinery including earthmoving equipment, diesel engines, electric generators, lift trucks, palletized loads, hydraulic cylinders, and more. Drivers are expected to safely operate all equipment, use a lift truck for cargo handling, demonstrate initiative, teamwork, customer service enthusiasm, and a commitment to efficient problem solving. Responsibilities Adhere to basic safe machine operation and inspection rules. Conduct and document daily vehicle inspections. Maintain truck and driving log according to DOT regulations. Follow DOT and company safety regulations and procedures. Ensure preventive maintenance on truck is performed as required. Load, unload, and properly secure truck cargo. Maintain proper documentation for cargo, including MSDS for hazardous materials. Follow 5‑Star Contamination Control procedures. Keep the truck clean, neat, and orderly. Keep accurate records of all work performed. Operate equipment safe and efficient for customer and company needs. Job Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Strong mechanical aptitude. Prior experience hauling equipment and operating machinery is preferred. Basic computer and typing skills required. Skills and Competencies: Written and verbal communication skills. Basic computing skills. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office. Advanced customer service skills. Advanced verbal communication skills. Certifications: Driver's License – Personal. CDL Class A. Medical Card. OSHA and MSHA required training. Compliance training. Working Conditions Work is normally performed in a customer, vendor, or company shop or on customer job sites. The role involves exposure to physical risk, all weather conditions, and extended driving periods. Physical Requirements Writing, typing, reaching, kneeling, operating equipment, grasping, stooping, lifting up to 75 lbs, climbing ladders and equipment, crawling under equipment, driving day and night, tripping, slipping, falling, strains from lifting, driving‑related hazards, equipment movement, stress and fatigue, back and neck strain, injury from lifting, moving machinery, strains and sprains, cold stress.
