CNC Machinist (Turning)

Job Duties

We are looking to hire a skilled CNC machinist to join our 1st shift team within a production environment. The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for maintaining smooth operations by machining high-quality precision parts to print. Candidates with strong machining backgrounds will thrive, and on-the-job training is available for those with the right attitude and willingness to learn

Minimum Education Required

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED, etc.) (Required)

• Associated technical degree/certification within the field OR several years of experience within CNC Machining (Preferred)

Minimum Experience Required

· Ability to understand and follow standards, protocols, and procedures without excessive redirection.

· Ability to do first-time-run-through on programs accurately and timely under limited supervision, ensuring proper documentation and setup information for repeat runs.

· Mechanically inclined.

· Experience in CAD/CAM and machining centers with Fanuc and Yasnac controls.

· Ability to cooperate with all co-workers and staff.

· Ability to communicate effectively.

· Maintain basic English communication skills.

· Ability to work overtime on Fridays as needed.

· Working experience and familiarity with Makino machines (highly preferred).

· Experience working with quotes is a plus

· Hands-on experience with Makino A51NX, A55, A66 / Haas VF6, VF4, ST20 / SMEC SL2000 / Nakamura–Tome AS-200L is a plus

· SolidWorks experience is a plus
