Sovereign Environmental Group is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Engineer for our Coatesville, Pennsylvania office. This role involves supporting a diverse range of clients across industry, commercial/institutional, and construction sectors with a focus on environmental compliance. The ideal candidate will have one to four years of relevant experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint. Experience with Phase I and asbestos assessments is advantageous. Sovereign offers competitive salaries, fully paid health insurance, and a 401k plan with company match.

 

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and Phase I environmental assessments
• Perform asbestos assessments when required
• Prepare and write detailed environmental reports and documentation
• Maintain clear and effective client communication
• Develop and manage workbooks and modeling using Microsoft Excel and SharePoint
• Assist Clients' compliance with environmental regulations and standards

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level to 2 years-experience in environmental compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, including workbook development
• Familiarity with SharePoint environment
• Strong report writing and verbal communication skills
