This position is responsible for submitting claims to third-party payers for hospital hospital-based providers and physician clinic providers. The role includes pursuing collection of claims until payment is received from insurance companies performing the necessary steps to complete the billing process.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Post-secondary education may substitute for years of experience
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Ideal candidates will have experience with billing in a Critical Access Hospital or professional billing experience with the initiative to learn hospital billing and expand medical billing knowledge and skills

Shift Schedule:

Full-time MondayFriday 8:00 a.m.4:30 p.m. Flexible scheduling available. Remote work may be an option following the training period and successful demonstration of billing competencies.
