As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Experience in De Soto, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while reporting security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
