Shift Leader

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shift Leader to help guide our team in delivering exceptional açaí bowls, coffee, and customer experiences. As a Shift Leader, you will oversee daily operations during your shift, support baristas/cashiers and kitchen staff, and ensure our shop runs smoothly, efficiently, and with great energy. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of service, product quality, and teamwork. Being able to keep up with a fast paced environment is essential! Responsibilities Lead and support baristas/cashiers and kitchen staff throughout each shift Maintain a positive, productive, and customer‑focused environment Ensure all açaí bowls, beverages, and menu items meet quality and presentation standards Assist with training new team members and reinforcing best practices Manage shift flow, delegate tasks, and adjust staffing as needed Handle customer concerns with professionalism and a solutions‑oriented mindset Oversee cash handling, register accuracy, and end‑of‑shift procedures Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food‑safety standards Communicate clearly with management about shift performance, issues, and needs Qualifications Previous shift lead or supervisory experience required Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment Reliable, punctual, and committed to creating a positive team culture Customer‑service focused with a friendly, upbeat attitude Experience in food service, coffee, or açaí shops is a plus What We’re Looking For A leader who leads by example — someone who can jump behind the bar, help in the kitchen, support the team, and keep the shop running smoothly.
