About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its nature-based retreat center, which is dedicated to self-discovery, healing, and awakening. The successful candidate will be deeply aligned with the organization's values and will work closely with the staff, board, and Founder-in-Residence to oversee the strategy, operations, team management, partnerships, marketing, and guest experience. This role requires a leader with a genuine resonance for the power of nature to heal and connect, a collaborative and inclusive leadership style, and a growth mindset. The Executive Director will be responsible for defining and executing a long-term vision, leading the team in a values-driven manner, and serving as the primary ambassador to the community and retreat facilitator network. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have at least 7 years' of senior leadership experience in mission-driven organizations, with a strong preference for those with a background in nonprofit, hospitality, retreat, or wellness settings. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in budget management, financial performance, and team leadership. Experience in fundraising, particularly in philanthropic and earned income generation, is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a background in contemplative or healing practices, existing relationships within the facilitator or wellness community, and a commitment to living and working in a residential, hands-on leadership role. The Executive Director will be expected to live on the property, fully integrated into the retreat operations, and to be present for the continuous, 24/7 nature of the work, including regular off-hours and weekend commitments.
