Information Receptionist

Information Receptionist Incumbents will exercise excellent customer service, resourcefulness, initiative, and sound judgment in carrying out the following duties and responsibilities: Serving as a central point of contact to provide explanations of requirements, regulations, and procedures in the Lodging area. Provides direction in the registration, clearances, and discharge process. Maintaining calendars and coordinates reception of mail, and telephone calls to ensure a smooth flow of business. Initiates contact for medical and/or psychiatric emergencies. Conducts tours of the lodging facility, and conducts safety rounds of the area. Provides administrative support to lodgers. Orders supplies and linens. Provides support to assigned areas when there are no lodgers, according to limitations. Performs other duties as assigned. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 12:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. Hours may be rotated or extended based on the needs of the Medical Center and our Veterans. This is not a virtual position.
