Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: CRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: RRT license required; CRT accepted Certifications: AHA BLS & ACLS Must-Have: - Experience with adult patients; potential for pediatric patients - Ability to float within the scope of practice - Availability to work every other weekend Description: Two or more years of experience required. Must possess AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. RRT license is required; CRT certification is also accepted. The population served includes adults, with potential for pediatric patients. Floating within the scope of practice is required. Every other weekend is mandatory. Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated. Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered. All candidates must provide a copy of their unexpired driver's license. Active Compact or State License is required at the time of submission. Candidates must be willing to accept a schedule of 84 hours per two weeks. Both a charge or higher reference and a supervisor reference are required. All references must be completed within the last year. This position involves a rotation of 3x12-hour shifts and 4x12-hour shifts. Travelers must work either a major or minor holiday. RTO requests will be considered up to 7 days, and must be presented upfront. No changes to RTO after submission will be accepted. Travel pairs are accepted but will not be on the same shift or unit. All necessary background checks or license issues must be submitted upfront. After working for one year, travelers must take a minimum of a 6-month break before returning.
