Responsibilities:
- Use hand tools and power tools to build and assemble various wood trusses with metal plates.
- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications
- Measure and cut materials to the required specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Experience:
- No previous experience in truss building, construction, or carpentry is needed.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and read a tape measure
- Willingness to learn how to operate a forklift
- Experience with construction, carpentry or fabricating materials is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
