About the Role

The Company is in need of a Head of Legal to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key strategic partner to executive leadership, providing broad legal support and acting as a legal generalist with a focus on intellectual property, commercial contracts, product compliance, and regulatory affairs. Key responsibilities for this role include leading all legal matters related to intellectual property, drafting and managing a variety of commercial contracts, serving as the primary legal advisor on product compliance and regulatory issues, and developing and maintaining company-wide compliance programs. The Head of Legal will also be expected to advise on strategic business initiatives, manage litigation and outside counsel relationships, and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards. Applicants for the Head of Legal position at the company should hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school, be an active member of the bar in good standing, and have at least 8 years of legal experience. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in commercial business operations, experience in advising on legal and regulatory risk, and a proven track record of managing legal matters effectively. The ideal candidate will have the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, support growth initiatives, and foster a culture of ethics and compliance within the organization.
