Nurse Practitioner Or Physician AssistantMyMichigan Health has an excellent opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the growing Trauma and General Surgery Team in Saginaw, Michigan!Full timeDay shift, 7a-7p7 days within a two-week pay periodResponsibilitiesRespond to trauma activations and perform admissions and consults for the trauma and general surgery team, as well as interpretation/treatment of testing and daily roundingFirst call for ER consults, activations and nursing questionsBedside procedures including chest tubes, arterial lines, central lines, laceration repairVariety of patient care, including ICU management, step down and general floor level patientsMostly inpatient, with occasional clinic.Certifications and LicensuresAHA approved BLS CertificationAHA approved ACLS CertificationATLS Certification required prior to completion of orientationRequired EducationGraduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant ProgramOne year of experience with surgical specialties preferred, new grads will be consideredOther InformationEmployment is contingent on successful completion of MyMichigan Health's credentialing processRobust onboarding and training program
