Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to craft personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs. \n Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. \n Facilitate therapy sessions for various formats, including individual, group, and family counseling, ensuring engagement and support throughout the therapeutic process. \n Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers—to provide integrated care that addresses the diverse needs of our clients. \n Maintain detailed client records and documentation, ensuring compliance with all ethical guidelines and legal standards in counseling practices. \n Engage in continued education and training opportunities, staying abreast of the latest research and trends in counseling and mental health. \n Participate in regular team meetings and case reviews, contributing insights and strategies that enhance our therapeutic approach. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Our counseling services cater to a wide range of clients, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. We serve a diverse demographic, comprising various age groups and backgrounds. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be pivotal in fostering resilience and guiding clients through their unique mental health journeys. Qualifications\n \n Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia. \n A strong commitment to ethical practice, with a minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services, preferably in an outpatient or clinical setting. \n Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and collaboration with colleagues. \n Preferred Experience\n While the mandatory qualifications ensure a solid foundation, we highly value candidates with additional expertise in specialized therapeutic approaches or populations.
