Job Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for prepping, building and assembling unique cabinets, arched units and other custom work with safety, quality, and efficiency in mind. Determine product specifications and machine setup requirements. Monitor operations and make adjustments to correct problems and ensure conformance to specifications. Examine finished work pieces for smoothness, shape, angle, depth-of-cut and conformity. Inspect completed work pieces so that they can be moved to the next workstation. Category Manufacturing Position Cabinet Builder Position Requirements **Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities** Must demonstrate skill in general manufacturing procedures and equipment, including operation of hand tools, drills, saws, sanders, and other basic shop equipment. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the assembly of cabinets. Knowledge of production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Knowledge of relevant equipment, procedures and strategies to promote effective, secure operations. Ability to follow a schedule. Ability to read and use a tape measure up to 1/32. **Job Qualifications and Education** One year of carpentry or finish carpentry experience required. One year of experience in a manufacturing environment required, Demonstrated skills in organization, planning, prioritization and time management. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete on a timely basis.
