This full-time contract opportunity at an elementary school runs from September 8, 2026, through late June. Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, working approximately 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., aligning with school hours and providing a balanced work-life rhythm.

As a valued team member, you’ll provide essential services to a diverse caseload of elementary-age students, helping them reach their potential both behaviorally and academically. Your expertise will guide students, collaborate with educators, and facilitate a healthy, productive learning environment.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid New York State School Psychologist certification (NY PSYCH)
• Previous experience or internship in an elementary school setting is highly valued
• Solid understanding of assessment and intervention strategies for school-aged children
• Ability to administer cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments of students
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams for the development and monitoring of IEPs
• Provide counseling and interventions focused on student success and well-being
• Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
• Participate in meetings with parents and staff, providing insight and recommendations
