General Dentist Special Needs Practice
A growing dental organization is seeking a compassionate and dedicated General Dentist to join its Special Needs Practice team. This opportunity is ideal for a provider who is passionate about delivering patient-centered care and building meaningful, long-term relationships with individuals who have special healthcare needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care to patients with special healthcare needs in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment
- Perform preventive, restorative, and diagnostic dental procedures
- Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients and caregivers on oral health and treatment options
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers through exceptional clinical care and communication
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and support staff to deliver an outstanding patient experience
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Adhere to all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards of practice
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on quality patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Current dental license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care
- Passion for serving patients with special healthcare needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning
