Travel: Approximately 40-60% (Domestic & Occasional International)
Compensation: $36-$40/hour + Overtime + Full Benefits
An established global manufacturer of advanced automation equipment is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to support machine installations, startups, troubleshooting, and customer acceptance activities throughout North America.

What You'll Do- Commission high-precision automated manufacturing equipment
- Perform machine startup, debugging, testing, and validation
- Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, HMI, servo, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Work alongside customers during installation and production launch
- Verify machine performance meets engineering specifications
- Support FAT and SAT activities
- Provide operator and maintenance training
- Document startup activities and service reports
- Collaborate with Engineering, Controls, Mechanical Assembly, and Project Management teams
- Identify process improvements to improve machine performance and reliability
- 2+ years of commissioning, field service, controls, automation, or machine build experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Experience troubleshooting industrial automation equipment
- PLC knowledge (Siemens or Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently at customer facilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license and passport (or ability to obtain one)
