Job Description

The Plant Administrator supports daily operations by accurately entering, updating, and maintaining orders, account information, and records in a manufacturing environment. This role provides administrative, order processing, and logistics support to ensure data integrity, timely workflow, and smooth coordination across teams.

Responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain orders, account details, and records with accuracy
• Perform data entry for order processing, fulfillment, and purchase orders
• Support import and export activity for raw materials with precise documentation
• Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure efficient order movement
• Use ERP systems to manage order data, inventory information, and transactions
• Utilize CRM and email platforms to manage communication and track account activity
• Provide customer service support by addressing inquiries and resolving order issues
• Maintain inventory and order records for reporting and planning
• Use Excel to organize, track, and analyze order and inventory data
• Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy
• Answer phones professionally and route calls appropriately

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing in an administrative or order entry role
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with order entry, processing, and fulfillment
• Exposure to import/export documentation for raw materials
• Background supporting supply chain or logistics functions
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or similar
• Experience using CRM tools for account or customer management
• Proficiency with Outlook for communication and scheduling
• Proficiency with Excel for data organization and tracking
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment

This role is 100% onsite in a manufacturing setting with standard business hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Media, PA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Media,PA.
