Assistant Town Clerk/Tax CollectorThe Town of Farmington is seeking a skilled, proactive and motivated candidates to assist and support the Town Clerk/Tax Collector in day-to-day operations, as well as providing direct customer service to residents.Key Responsibilities:Processing Motor Vehicle RegistrationsProcessing and maintaining vital recordsProperty tax and utility payment collectionsProcessing dog licensesAssisting with the administration of Local and State elections.What We're Looking For:A highly organized, flexible, self-starter with strong multi-tasking, customer service and math skills to work in a fast-paced environment.Candidate does not have to be a Farmington resident, but it is preferred.Education:A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of office and money handling experience preferredStarting Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hourHours: Part-Time, 21.5 hours per week, Monday & Tuesday 8:15 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. and Friday 8:15 – 12:45 p.m. Location: Farmington, New HampshireBenefits: Paid time offApply today!
