About the Position

Our client is seeking Class A CDL Flatbed Drivers for an on-site position in Middlebury, Indiana. This role offers $28 per hour, first-shift scheduling, home-daily routes, and opportunities for optional overnight runs. Flatbed experience and the ability to operate a manual transmission are required.

Pay & Schedule Details

Pay: $28 per hour
Schedule: First shift
Hours: 40 hours per week
Home daily with local and regional routes
Optional overnight runs available

Job Details

Route type: Local delivery
Freight: Flat aluminum stock and occasional coils
Equipment: Flatbed and Conestoga trailers
Trucks: 2026 Kenworth trucks with 10-speed manual transmissions
Handling: Driver is responsible for securing freight with straps or chains; tarping is not required
Local runs are approximately 150 miles

Key Responsibilities

Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently
Transport and deliver flatbed freight according to route requirements
Secure freight properly using straps or chains
Maintain a clean motor vehicle record
Follow all applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations
Promote safe, reliable, and professional service

Minimum Requirements

1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Valid Class A CDL
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
Flatbed driving experience
Ability to operate flatbed and Conestoga equipment
Ability to operate a manual transmission
