Floating policy: Travelers float first – ED, step down On Call Expectations: Only when census drops, otherwise no call Weekend Requirement: Every other Procedures & Skills Procedures performed on unit: Intubations, central line placement, bronchoscopy, bedside trach and PEG tube placement. Advanced skills needed: Vent management, ABG interpretation, vasoactive drip titration, hemodynamic monitoring. Certifications required: RN license, ACLS, BLS.
