Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech & Language Pathology - Hollister, California

This is a full-time, in-person contract role reporting to the Director of Special Education, with assignments available across elementary, middle, high school, and mixed-grade levels based on your strengths and interests.


What We're Seeking:

• Active California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
• Strong background in school-based speech therapy (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA experience highly valued)
• Solid understanding of special education process and disability categories
• Training in assessment, evaluation, and consultative services
• Commitment to fostering collaborative relationships with staff, students, families, and community partners
• Ability to infuse lightheartedness and positive energy into day-to-day work
• Excellent planning, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct intervention to students with speech and language needs, supporting their academic and personal growth
• Assess, evaluate, and monitor speech, language, auditory, and developmental progress for K-12 students
• Collaborate as a core member of the multi-disciplinary team, contributing to IEP planning and implementation
• Guide and collaborate with educators to support language programming in classrooms and community settings
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff and families on speech and language topics, maintaining open and effective communication
