MedTech Field Service Technician Mechnical - West Coast/PST
$27 - $32 per hourIQVIA
IQVIA seeks a MedTech Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair specialty hospital beds across West Coast locations. This 100% travel role requires technical expertise, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in healthcare environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, update, repair, and test specialty hospital beds at healthcare facilities
- Provide ongoing communication and technical support to hospital staff on-site
- Conduct routine checks, record test data post-installation, and maintain quality documentation
- Travel across multiple West Coast and Southwest regions to service assigned equipment
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent military training or biomedical/technical field service experience (2–3 years)
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license and personal vehicle for work assignments
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand/sit for extended periods
- Professional communication and self-motivation to work independently or collaboratively
- Strong time management and organizational skills for project completion
- Current immunizations and ability to pass hospital vendor credentialing requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote)
Compensation: $27–$32 per hour
