This role will work closely with project managers, business unit accountants, and other project team members to support accurate financial reporting, project coordination, and timely billing. The position will be based out of one of our Foth offices in WI, IA, or SD with the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment. If you are looking for a role where you can continue learning, build strong partnerships, and grow your career within a dynamic team, this could be a great opportunity for you.Primary Responsibilities:Provide project financial reporting support and consultation to Project Managers and Business Unit Accountants, helping ensure accurate project performance tracking and financial managementCoordinate project setup activities by reviewing contract requirements and accurately establishing projects within the ERP system in accordance with contractual terms, company policies, and accounting standardsMaintain a thorough understanding of client-specific standards, processes, and expectations to support accurate invoicing and compliance with client requirementsSupport project managers by monitoring and analyzing project schedules and budgetsMonitor supplier invoices and assist with PO managementProcess and submit client invoices through a variety of delivery methods, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with client requirementsProactively work with Foth project team members to ensure timely billing and receipt of payments within contract termsProcess payment vouchers, employee expense reports, and project assignment requests accurately and efficientlySupport financial reporting activities by preparing, reviewing, and distributing reports as requestedAssist with the development of cost estimates for client proposals and project pursuits.Provide administrative, accounting, and project support services as needed to meet business and project objectivesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field5+ years of accounting experience in a project-based environment, such as professional services, including invoicing and financial reportingDemonstrated experience applying project accounting principles, including revenue recognition, cost tracking, billing, and financial performance analysisExperience supporting project financial management, including project setup, billing, revenue and cost analysis, budget monitoring, and financial reportingPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience with Deltek Vantagepoint software and Microsoft project management tools, including SharePoint and MS ProjectExperience producing and/or assisting with contract preparation and reviewProficiency using Power BI or similar reporting and analytics toolsExperience working with large project portfolios and multiple clientsExperience with additional accounting functions, such as accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month end or period end close processesAll Foth Companies are equal opportunity employers, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.
