Nami’s intimate and exclusive 10-seat omakase counter will offer a modern approach to the traditional chef‑curated experience. An energetic cocktail bar and dining room will offer a different experience, with thoughtfully prepared menus that juxtapose precise technique with playful nuances to offer Nami’s interpretive take on Japanese ingredients and flavors. Position Summary The Server Assistant is responsible for delivering hospitality to our guests with genuine and personable conversation and service. This position is critical to our guests’ overall experience as the Server Assistant must ensure the environment is clean, orderly, and stocked for our guests and team members. Essential Functions Deliver genuine hospitality to and establish emotional connections with our guests Contribute to the overall teamwork and success of the restaurant Communicate effectively with guests and team members Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards Ensure interior and exterior cleanliness of the restaurant Set and reset tables perfectly guest‑ready in a timely manner Sweep floors throughout the entire restaurant Carry dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware to the dish area for cleaning Handle guest complaints professionally and alert a manager immediately Communicate with managers and hosts regarding table availability and key table updates Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation Demonstrate professional and gracious demeanor at all times Perform all opening, running, and closing duties accurately Perform any job function requested by the management team Position Qualifications Adaptability & Flexibility – Adapts to changing business needs, conditions, and work responsibilities and works with a variety of situations, individuals, groups, and varying customer needs Attention to Detail – Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks Communication – Listens to others and communicates in an effective manner Confidence – A matured and justified self‑belief in one’s ability to do the job, and the conveyance of that behalf Customer Focus – Builds and maintains customer satisfaction with the services offered by TRC; provides excellent customer service to both guests and team members Initiative – Recognizes situations that warrant initiative and moves forward without hesitation; reasonably resolves issues, problems, or situations Problem‑Solving – Resolves difficult or complicated challenges Teamwork – Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables Skills & Abilities Education: High School; able to communicate (speak, read, and write) in English Experience: Previous hospitality experience is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr NAMI
