Description: School Nurse at Highland High School
Applicant must be willing to:
- Serve as a liaison and resource to the students, faculty and community on health related issues
- Implement the health regulations, policies and procedures of the school district, Department of Public Health and Department of Education
- Administer prescribed medication to students according to policy
- Perform skilled nursing procedures in a safe, competent and effective manner
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Other nursing duties as assigned may be necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and licensed as a registered nurse in Illinois (LPN);
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Certified School Nurse endorsement (CSN) (preferred);
- Other professional nursing qualifications may be considered.
Salary: Long Term Sub = $180/day
