Senior Software Engineer (C++)

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (C++) to join their high-performing engineering team. This role is ideal for an experienced developer with a strong background in low latency systems and electronic trading environments. This is a fully remote position.

Senior Software Engineer (C++)'s Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications within low latency trading environments
• Build and support electronic trading systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance
• Work with FIX Protocol integrations, including order routing and connectivity solutions
• Develop and support market data applications utilizing proprietary and SIP feeds
• Enhance post-trade handling and processing workflows
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across distributed systems and trading infrastructure

Senior Software Engineer (C++)'s Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with C++
• Experience developing within low latency or high-performance environments
• Strong understanding of electronic trading systems and workflows
• Hands-on experience with FIX Protocol, market data feeds, and post-trade processing
• Linux systems experience, including development and troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Financial services or trading industry experience strongly preferred
