• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing whenever necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and help maintain the standards of quality within the lab.
• Uphold a safe and clean workspace while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree in preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Possessing ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is essential, to be obtained within the first year of employment.
