Position Details

Job Type: Per-Diem
Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour
Location: Drums, PA

Position Summary

The Residential Worker provides direct support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living, medication monitoring, budgeting, and overall wellness. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, this individual helps create a caring, respectful, and therapeutic environment that promotes dignity, independence, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and support their independence.
• Monitor and document resident behaviors, needs, and overall well-being.
• Observe and report changes in physical, emotional, or behavioral health to supervisory staff.
• Support residents with medication monitoring and financial budgeting as directed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
• Participate as an active member of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Treat all residents with dignity, compassion, and respect.
• Follow infection control practices and universal precautions at all times.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Prioritize responsibilities effectively and perform duties in a timely and organized manner.
• Carry out assigned tasks under the direction of the Personal Care Home Coordinator and Personal Care Home Director.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, person-centered care.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

• Experience working in human services, healthcare, behavioral health, or a residential setting.
