Role Overview Our Business Development & Marketing team plays a critical role in enhancing the Firm's reputation, expanding its client base and driving revenue growth. This team develops and implements strategic marketing plans to promote the Firm's legal services, leveraging digital and traditional marketing channels to reach target audiences. They conduct market research to identify industry trends and client needs, positioning the Firm competitively within the legal marketplace. The Manager, Professional Support plays an important operational tactical role in delivering objectives within Professional Support. With comprehensive knowledge of the discipline, this role supports complex legal matters and challenges, providing vital specialist advice, and utilizes a specialized skillset to ensure effective problem‑solving and innovation within the Firm, especially with legal teams. Responsibilities Supports in managing the delivery of Professional Support services, working across both regional and global offices Provides in-depth specialist legal advice to legal teams, streamlining operational efficiency Leads the development of new methodologies and innovative solutions to complex problems Drives effective communication through various platforms, fostering collaboration and augmenting understanding across different teams Contributes to the design and implementation of initiatives within Professional Support, leveraging knowledge and insights to inform decision‑making Uses comprehensive knowledge of the discipline to analyze, interpret and make actionable recommendations on complex legal matters and challenges Maintains an up‑to‑date understanding of industry trends and legal matters, adapting strategies as necessary and ensuring the team is equipped to respond to changes Collaborates with leadership in shaping the strategic direction within Professional Support Manages one or more teams of supervisors, professionals, and coordinators, managing operations within a designated area or department Individual contributors at this level lead projects within a broader initiative, providing technical guidance, setting priorities for the team, and reviewing the work of others Engages in operational and tactical activities, contributing to and supporting decision‑making within the team/sub‑function Subject matter expert possessing advanced and specialized expertise in the discipline, including methodologies and processes and able to address atypical issues within own field Manages small professional or defined delivery teams across regional and global offices, impacting business primarily through professional or technical contributions to an area of specialty Ability to think critically and analytically, leveraging data and insights to inform decision‑making and drive continuous improvement Good analytical and problem‑solving skills Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders at various levels of the Firm Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience/relevant certifications where appropriate to the discipline Reporting Structure Chief Innovation Officer Equal Opportunity Statement White & Case is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and is committed to creating a fair workplace.
