Position Summary:

The Arcade and Facility Maintenance Technician supports safe, reliable, and guest-ready operations throughout Henderson Sport and Social. This hands-on position diagnoses, repairs, and maintains arcade games, bowling equipment, family entertainment attractions, low-voltage systems, audiovisual equipment, and selected facility equipment. The technician responds professionally to equipment issues during operating hours, completes assigned preventive maintenance and work orders, and coordinates with manufacturers and outside service providers when specialized repairs are required. This full-time position reports directly to the Facility Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test arcade games, redemption equipment, card readers, kiosks, and related electronic and mechanical components.
• Perform hands-on repairs and adjustments inside bowling pinsetters, lane machinery, ball returns, scoring systems, and related bowling equipment.
• Diagnose complex bowling equipment problems and coordinate major repairs, technical support, and warranty service with Brunswick and other authorized providers.
• Maintain and repair laser tag equipment, Crazy Darts systems, miniature golf components, televisions, audiovisual equipment, and other entertainment technology.
• Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs of fitness equipment.
• Inspect equipment, identify developing problems, and complete assigned preventive maintenance, cleaning, calibration, adjustment, and testing tasks.
• Respond promptly to equipment failures during operating hours, communicate professionally with guests and team members, and help restore attractions to service safely and efficiently.
• Complete and update assigned work orders, document repairs and recurring issues, and communicate equipment status and follow-up needs to the Facility Manager.
• Maintain an organized inventory of replacement parts, tools, manuals, and supplies; identify reorder needs and assist with parts purchasing.
• Process warranty claims and communicate directly with manufacturers, distributors, and service providers regarding troubleshooting, replacement parts, repairs, and technical support.
• Support general facility maintenance, including commercial floor-cleaning and carpet-extraction equipment, basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting, painting, minor carpentry, furniture and fixture repairs, and other routine building repairs within the employee's training and authorization.
• Assist with the inspection, operation, cleaning, and minor repair of restaurant, housekeeping, and other facility equipment as assigned.
• Safely operate ladders, lifts, powered maintenance equipment, hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment after receiving required training and authorization.
• Follow all manufacturer instructions, lockout/tagout requirements, workplace safety procedures, and applicable regulations; remove unsafe equipment from service and report hazards promptly.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and secure work areas, cabinets, mechanical spaces, tools, and parts-storage areas.
• Coordinate work to minimize disruption to guests, events, leagues, tournaments, and food and beverage operations.
• Provide customer-service-minded support and maintain a positive, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
• Perform other duties as appropriate and assist the Facility Manager and operations team with facility setup, repairs, and special projects as business needs require.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Arcade, bowling, amusement, electronics, low-voltage, or related technical maintenance experience preferred; candidates with strong low-voltage and electronic troubleshooting skills will be considered.
• Working knowledge of basic electronics, mechanical systems, wiring, hand and power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic procedures.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, error codes, and manufacturer service instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers, managers, manufacturers, and outside service providers.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, maintain accurate work-order documentation, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods; climb ladders; bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and work in tight or confined spaces, including inside arcade cabinets and equipment enclosures.
• Ability and willingness to operate lifts and powered maintenance equipment after receiving required training and authorization.
• Positive attitude, professional manner, and commitment to safety and guest service in all situations.
