Doctor of Medicine | Oncology - General/Other Location: Dubois, PA Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Nights - 5 days Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Medical Oncology / Hematology Oncology Physician • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Dubois, PA • Service Setting: Hospital-Based Oncology Clinic • Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Coverage Only • Coverage Period: ASAP – 6 Months with Option to Extend • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 5x8-Hour Shifts COVERAGE DATES • 05/26 – 05/29 • 06/01 – 06/05 • 06/08 – 06/12 • 06/22 – 06/26 • 06/29 – 07/03 PRACTICE DETAILS • Average Daily Census: 12–15 Patients • Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics (18+) • Hospital Bed Size: 219–228 Beds • EMR: ONCO (Clinic) & Cerner (Hospital) • Procedures: New referral patients include both Oncology & Hematology, inpatient consults, cancer diagnosis & staging, treatment planning including chemotherapy & immunotherapy. Bone marrow biopsies may be referred to IR. • Support Staff: Director of Oncology & Infusion Services, Clinical RN Supervisor, Support Staff Supervisor, 8 Oncology RNs, 2 Nurse Navigators, 4 Medical Assistants, 7 Clerical Staff, Financial Navigator, 2 Authorization Assistants, Billing/Coding Director, Pharmacist, Clinical Pharmacist & Pharmacy RN Tech REQUIREMENTS • Board Certification: BC Medical Oncology or Hematology Oncology • State License: Active License Preferred; IMLC Considered • DEA: Required • CSR: Required • Certifications Required: BLS & ACLS • Minimum Experience Required: 1 Year
