We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Minimum Requirements Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program. Current Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner License in good standing. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required. Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an RRT, including care in intensive care units and medical-surgical floors. Willingness to work every third weekend and some holidays. Ability to precept respiratory therapy students when requested. Pending license accepted. Locals outside a 75-mile radius only. Preferred: Active AARC membership, bachelor’s degree or higher, or actively working toward a bachelor’s degree. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Shift Name: Nights. Shift Pattern: Night 3x12-Hour. Shift Hours: 18:45 - 07:15. Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend. Float Requirement: Candidates will be expected to work in ICUs and on floors as needed.
