Busy Interventional Pain Management Clinic

We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced interventional pain management practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and providing exceptional patient care. You would be floating to all three clinics.  Mount Juliet, Murfreesboro, and Brentwood

Responsibilities:

• Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories
• Assist providers with examinations and in-office procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms and maintain sterile technique as appropriate
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up appointments
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff
• Perform other clinical and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant certification preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Previous clinical experience required; pain management or orthopedic experience is a plus 3-5 years
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with EMR systems- e-clinical works preferred
• Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
