Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM, Friday - Sunday

Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic imaging services under the direction of a Radiologist. The role involves performing various CT scanning procedures on both inpatients and outpatients, following departmental protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
• Assist in biopsy and drainage procedures as needed.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the operation and processing of CT systems.
• Administer contrast media when required for imaging studies.
• Maintain knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and surgical/sterile procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited AMA school.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• State licensure as a general radiographer.
• Current BLS certification.
