Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days/Evenings | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Weekend rotation every 6 weeks as needed | Call as needed | Holiday requirement (1 summer / 1 winter as needed) | 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (on-call hours not included in guarantee)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both scrub and circulator roles in the operating room across a variety of surgical cases
• Support surgical procedures with a strong focus on orthopedic, spine, and robotic-assisted surgeries
• Operate within an 11-suite OR environment at a 209-bed acute care hospital
• Adhere to in-hours scrub protocols and maintain compliance with all facility standards
• Participate in weekend rotation, on-call coverage, and holiday scheduling as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate
• Candidates must not be locals — non-local candidates only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong background in orthopedic, spine, and robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred
