Job Title: Designer Location: Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 Duration: 6 Months Job Type: Temporary Assignment Work Type: Hybrid Job Description: The Designer is responsible for developing innovative, brand-right creative concepts and packaging designs for Beauty, Fragrance and Body Care across new product launches, core fragrance packaging and innovation initiatives. This role translates fragrance stories, consumer insights and beauty trends into compelling visual expressions across multiple product forms and packaging formats. The Designer supports projects from initial concept through final production, creating cohesive design systems that encompass color, typography, pattern, illustration, photography and graphic design. Designs should balance creativity, elevated aesthetics, consumer relevance and business objectives while maintaining the integrity of the brand. Responsibilities: Conceptualize and develop multiple creative design solutions for Beauty, Fragrance and Body Care collections, core category and innovation initiatives. Translate fragrance stories, consumer insights and beauty trends into distinctive packaging and product design expressions. Develop cohesive design systems across multiple product forms, ensuring consistency in color, typography, graphics, pattern, photography and overall visual storytelling. Support the creation and execution of designs from initial concept through final production. Create Design Turn Overs (DTOs) and finalize artwork for handoff to Production and cross-functional partners. Review mechanical artwork and production files for design accuracy and final approval prior to release. Develop concept boards, mood boards, design presentations and visual storytelling materials. Research emerging trends across beauty, fragrance, wellness, lifestyle, color, materials and packaging to inspire future product and design opportunities. Explore innovative graphic treatments, decorative techniques, materials and finishes that elevate the consumer experience and shelf presence. Provide approved designs and clear creative direction to mechanical art and production teams for development of technical specifications. Partner collaboratively with Design leadership, Packaging engineering, Product Development, Merchandising, Production and other cross-functional teams. Participate in store visits, competitive research and consumer insight activities to understand evolving beauty behaviors and marketplace trends. Manage multiple projects and priorities within a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of professional experience in graphic design, packaging design, illustration or related creative disciplines; experience in Beauty, Fragrance, Personal Care or consumer products preferred. Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated packaging design, graphic design, typography, color and visual storytelling. Strong understanding of beauty and fragrance aesthetics with the ability to translate trends and consumer insights into relevant, differentiated design. Proven ability to develop cohesive design systems across multiple products, formats and packaging structures. Strong conceptual thinking with demonstrated ability to move from initial inspiration through polished design execution. Experience working with photography, illustration, pattern, typography and other visual assets as part of integrated packaging design. Understanding of print production, packaging artwork and decorative techniques preferred. Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills required. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously. Strong communication, collaboration and presentation skills. Ability to receive and incorporate creative direction while also bringing forward new ideas and design solutions. Curiosity and passion for Beauty, Fragrance, Body Care, wellness and emerging consumer trends. Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
