Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role is responsible for driving productivity, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on warehouse leadership experience and is comfortable working with Locus Robotics (AMR) systems or similar automation technologies to optimize performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, and inventory control
Lead, train, and coach warehouse associates to achieve productivity and quality targets
Monitor workflow and staffing levels to ensure timely order fulfillment
Oversee and optimize the use of Locus robots in warehouse operations
Troubleshoot issues related to robotic-assisted picking and warehouse systems
Ensure compliance with SOPs, OSHA standards, and safety guidelines
Collaborate with Operations, Inventory Control, Maintenance, and IT teams to resolve process issues
Analyze performance metrics and implement process improvements
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
Prepare reports and communicate operational performance to management

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
3–5+ years of warehouse operations experience
1–2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
Experience with Locus Robotics AMRs or similar warehouse automation technology
Strong understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
Knowledge of inventory control, shipping, receiving, and fulfillment processes
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in e-commerce, retail distribution, or 3PL environments
Background in robotics troubleshooting or automation systems
Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
Forklift experience or certification
Experience using RF scanners and automated picking systems
