Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. The nurse will actively participate in the monitoring and assessment of patients, assist in deliveries, and support new mothers during recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Monitor labor and delivery patients using GE fetal monitors.
• Provide care for antepartum patients.
• Deliver newborn and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nursing staff, OB techs, and secretarial staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Preferred experience in an LDRP and high birth volumes.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification.
