Orthodontic Claims Resolution Representative

What You’ll Do The Orthodontic Claims Resolution Representative’s primary role is to resolve high volumes of aging orthodontic insurance claims with payers and providers by calling insurance companies or using their websites when available. The representative should be detail oriented, communicate effectively with insurance companies, and be self‑motivated while working well with the team. This position is located at our corporate office in Southfield, MI and has a hybrid schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday in office and Wednesday/Friday remote. What You’ll Bring To The Team Ability and self-confidence to communicate effectively and tactfully with both large insurance company representatives and individual clients Experience resolving high volumes of aging insurance claims Other tasks as requested by direct manager What We Require You Have High school diploma or GED Bachelor’s degree preferred 3+ years’ Dental Front Desk or Dental Claims Processing experience Orthodontic claims experience preferred Prior experience with insurance or accounts receivable (denied claims) Experience in dental/orthodontic insurance claims is a plus Analytical and problem‑solving skills with a passion for detail & accuracy Reliability and flexibility with time committed to the position Excellent organizational and time management skills High-volume, fast-paced office experience a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel About GEDC Since 1982, Great Expressions has been at the forefront of dental innovation, setting the standard for exceptional care and unforgettable patient experiences.
