This is a Full Time , night shift position in Suffolk, VA.Sign on Bonus up to $20,000 available for qualified candidates! Hours: 7pm-7am with rotating weekend schedule.The Acute Cardiac/Stroke Unit at Sentara Obici Hospital provides care for patients with cardiac conditions including heart failure, cardiac rhythm disturbances, newly implanted permanent pacemakers and defibrillators, post- coronary interventions, post-ablation, myocardial infarctions. 2 South also cares for pre/post catheterization, acute stroke, and post procedural neuro cases. This 25-bed unit sees a ratio of 1:6 with assistance of Patient Care Techs. The unit cares for patients with acuity higher than a typical medical-surgical unit. 2 South Acute Cardiac is also preparing for a transition to a Cardiac PCU step-down before year's end, making it an exciting opportunity for nurses seeking growth in a dynamic, high-acuity setting. Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program

BSN or MSN preferred.

BLS within 90 days of hire.

Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire

NIH within 1 year of hire Experience

Acute care nursing experience preferred
