Position Overview The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is a key member of Cooler Master’s Quality organization, responsible for ensuring incoming materials, components, and supply chain partners consistently meet our engineering standards. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role drives supplier qualification, performance monitoring, corrective action, and continuous improvement, with a focus on electronics, PC hardware, and high-volume manufacturing suppliers. Key Responsibilities Supplier Quality Management Evaluate and qualify new suppliers through on‑site audits, capability assessments, and PPAP processes. Monitor supplier performance via KPIs (PPM, defect rates, on‑time delivery) and manage SCARs/CAPAs to timely resolution. Maintain supplier qualification records, audit reports, and quality scorecards. Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure incoming materials meet Cooler Master’s quality standards; support IQC and MRB nonconforming material dispositions. Conduct root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone; drive corrective and preventive actions. Maintain ISO 9001 compliance and support FAI activities for new components and supplier transitions. Continuous Improvement & Supplier Development Analyze quality data and SPC metrics to identify systemic improvement opportunities across the supply base. Lead supplier‑facing CI projects targeting quality, cost, and efficiency; support supplier training to close capability gaps. Build strong supplier relationships; participate in business reviews and serve as the primary quality point of contact. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 3-7+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Quality. Experience with electronic components, PC hardware, or high-volume manufacturing strongly preferred. Knowledge of quality tools (PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Control Plans) and RCA methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone). Familiarity with ISO 9001; proficiency with Excel, Minitab, and ERP/QMS systems. ASQ CQE certification is a plus. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset. Clear communicator with proven supplier‑facing experience and ability to manage multiple priorities. Detail‑oriented and effective in a fast‑paced, high‑growth manufacturing environment.
