Devops Software Engineer

Senior DevOps Software EngineerBase-2 Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Software Engineer to play a critical role on the DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) Program supporting the mission to centralize and standardize Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (TCPED) of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) across the DoD and IC enterprise. The role involves integrating off-the-shelf and newly developed software to sustain and enhance the TCPED platform using cloud computing, AI, ML, and cross-domain transfer systems. The position requires leadership of a DevOps team responsible for design, deployment, and maintenance of a full stack containerized microservices architecture and technical systems administration in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead a DevOps team responsible for design, deployment, and maintenance of a full stack containerized microservices architecture.Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big data pipeline using microservice architecture running on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch backend, and Kafka messaging.Enhance, improve, and maintain CI/CD and DevOps scripts and processes to facilitate faster development, quicker error detection, and resilient deployments.Design, develop, and support scalable, redundant infrastructure including physical and virtualized environments.Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments to support new feature requirements.Collaborate with System Engineers to design solutions for new features and requirements.Provide technical input to systems engineering documentation and diagrams/models in coordination with SE and Architect teams.Own and prioritize the Agile team backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and delivery of maximum value.Support SAFe Program Increment (PI) planning and execution, including creating and managing work items and project documentation.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.Monitor sprint and program progress, resolving dependencies, risks, and impediments impacting delivery.Review and accept completed work to ensure it meets business requirements and quality standards.Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and leadership to communicate priorities, progress, and product goals.Required QualificationsBS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience with 12+ years in software development, system engineering or related field;
